The Beauty Myth

In menopause, I pause to wonder at my perceived physical fluctuations and flaws.

My insecurities are then combatted by The Beauty Myth - and the beauty that menopause can grant us in wisdom, compassion, freedom; and a sense of self.

If only we'd ban the noise in our heads; and listen.  

This piece is called 'The Beauty Myth' - she feels physically flawed, but we perceive her differently.
