My Womb is a Garden

My womb is a keeper of secrets, a garden of seasons, of life and death, joy and sorrow, growth and slipping away. The considered, deliberate use of humble, recycled materials, those reserved for a child's rainy day play, speaks of the maternal, home and domesticity, they also references the memorial vernacular, where simple, everyday object take on elevated, personal or spiritual meaning and significance.
