If We Bang About Shadow Work, Can We Actually Mean It?

If We Bang About Shadow Work, Can We Actually Mean It?

Is it just me, but is it getting harder to be a woman, but in very different ways?

The roads maps to healing, the toxic positivity/femininity, and unwillingness to sit with the darkness can make us feel like we're even failing to heal in a way that is best for us. It's an instant gratification society, X marks the spot for perfection, dye your hair, don't dye your hair. You do you (providing we're all comfortable with it). The royal we. The collective. The bore, locked in the quest for more.

What are we teaching our girls if we're out here drowning in menopause and other people’s opinions? We open conversations, but we quickly close our minds?

What if we just sat with the shadow long enough to find our own inner light?

Shadows don't always need to be darkness, sometime they're just depth.
