Walls are not always built from brick - some are shaped from judgment, shame, and the pressure to conform.

Over time, we are moulded by the weight of others: their opinions, assumptions, and expectations about who we should be. These pressures form walls - thick with silence, compromise, and self-erasure. These hands tear through that wall-breaking, peeling, and pushing against the layers of intolerance and expectation. Splitting it open to reveal something more precious.

This piece speaks to the courage it takes to strip back what the world has layered over us, to break through the masks we wear, and to return to the truth beneath. It honours the strength it takes to rise as your authentic self, to shine - and simply be.
