In 2020 when the whole world was in the midst of Covid pandemic crisis, I travelled to the UK to care for my mother through illness and sat with her as she passed away.
Since returning to Australia at the end of 2023 I have finally had the time and space to process my grief and reflect on this journey.
A Place For All The Small Things is a mixed media abstract painting celebrating my mothers bravery and the simplicity of death; having experienced the peacefulness of dying, I am fearless of mortality, I am free to live, fearlessness is freedom.
